DCS Veterans Day Chapel
Desert Christian Schools enjoys many ties to our US Armed Services, with families from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base whose children attend DCS, to our staff veterans, to those students who enlist after graduation. The military is integral part of life at DCS. To honor those who have served and those who are on active duty, a special assembly is held each Veterans Day to honor them. Veterans are enjoy commemorative speeches, performances, and are presented with various forms of recognition and appreciation from DCS students and administrators. It is a blessed occasion enabling the entire school body to express gratitude and remember the many freedoms we enjoy thanks to the unselfish sacrifice of our dedicated military personnel.
